Clinical Services Planning
Our specialist clinical service co-ordinators work with representatives
from all disciplines in the project team to design programmes that
accommodate all critical relationships and adjacencies, as well
as the impact of changes in technology, work practices and workflow
patterns.
With extensive experience of the
multifunctional requirements of any new facility, the UMG team is
ideally qualified to resolve the often conflicting project priorities
that arise.
Broad concept designs are developed on the basis of actual and
projected utilisation and throughput, and all environmental and
building-related factors are analysed to ensure that clinical and
regulatory requirements are met. We also prepare schedules of accommodation
and bills of quantities to facilitate financial planning and scheme
development.
Importantly, the UMG approach ensures that the new design can accommodate
future changes in clinical practice economically and efficiently.
