A Proven Approach

Project management methodology

Based on the PRINCE2 model, the interactive methodology we use is geared toward outcomes. Each phase into which the project is divided has its own deliverables, with every aspect of the project closely monitored by tracking both 'Technical' and 'Management' tasks.

The process begins with a detailed analysis of the client's current situation and strategic, operational and financial objectives. Any constraints and project-specific requirements are also discussed at this stage.

This information is then translated into the agreed goals and objectives which govern all analysis, planning, specification and management decisions throughout the course of the project. The final step is to develop a solution, or a range of solutions, based on objectively applying the information to our analysis of project requirements.

This methodology provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the whole project in depth, enabling the UMG team to deliver the most suitable solution for each client.

Accountability

Recognising the importance of public accountability to healthcare providers, our project management approach is geared to facilitating straightforward project review for scrutiny and audit by internal or external bodies.
